TFN Community Rides — Terms & Conditions
Organized by Breakaway Sports Unlimited Private Limited ("Company"), Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
By registering for this ride, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the following:
1. Assumption of Risk I understand that cycling on public roads/trails involves inherent risks, including traffic, road hazards, weather, mechanical failure, collisions, and other participants' actions, which may result in injury, disability, or death. I voluntarily assume all such risks.
2. Fitness & Safety I confirm I am medically fit to participate. I will wear a helmet, use appropriate safety gear, keep my bicycle roadworthy, follow traffic laws and marshal instructions, and not ride under the influence of alcohol or impairing substances.
3. Release & Waiver I release and discharge the Company, TFN ride organizers, marshals, volunteers, sponsors, venue/route owners, and their respective staff and agents ("Released Parties") from all liability for any loss, injury, or death arising from my participation, except where caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct, to the extent permitted by law.
4. Indemnity I agree to indemnify the Released Parties against any claims, losses, or costs arising from my own act, omission, or negligence, or my breach of these terms, during the ride.
5. Medical Emergency I authorize the Released Parties and any medical personnel to arrange first aid, treatment, or transport in case of a medical emergency during the ride. Any related costs are my own responsibility.
6. No Insurance I understand the Company does not provide personal accident/medical insurance for participants unless explicitly stated, and I am responsible for arranging my own cover if desired.
7. Photo/Media Consent I consent to being photographed/filmed during the ride and grant the Company a perpetual, royalty-free right to use such photos/videos (including my name, if captured) for promotion of TFN community rides across social media, website, and marketing materials, without compensation.
8. Minors If registering a minor, I confirm I am their parent/legal guardian and accept these terms, including all risks, releases, and indemnities, on the minor's behalf.
9. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka having exclusive jurisdiction.
