Tour of Nilgiris 09 takes into consideration the requirements of riders with varying skill levels, different bicycles and the desire to get as much as possible from the tour. Going through the links on this page will give you an idea of what lies in store for you and how the ride will become one of the best you have ever done.
Before the tour, TFN organises a briefing session which introduces the riders to the support team and also to each other. The briefing gives an overview of the tour and the places that the tour passes by. Details of the briefing sessions are mailed directly to participants.
In addition every day stage starts with a briefing by the Tour Director which reiterates the kind of road or traffic to expect and what to look out for. This also includes directions on food stops and other planned breaks. Just in case any rider cannot make it to the briefing, the same info can be found in the Rider Docket. |
