Siva Sai
… aka Siva’s Regal is one of TfN’s most famous sons!

Having done TFN 2009 and the TFN 2010, I wanted to volunteer for TFN 2011. But I guess the organizers wanted me to ride. I can imagine the pleasure they are going to get seeing me suffer on the climbs this year. To make things worse this year is competitive and I am hoping not to make it to to the top 10 slowest riders. My first century ride was in Jan 2009 on an MTB and we took all of 10 hours to do it. The longest ride I have done is about 220KM. That was boring enough and hard to keep oneself entertained, motivated and alert on such long rides.
. I work for LeapSky Wireless which is based out of Singapore. LeapSky will be supporting the TfN 2011 crew to provide mobile broadband connectivity during the tour. I hope to fit in enough training between my work schedules and travel so as not to embarrass my racing team-mates from Spectrum Racing during TFN. They might consider firing me if I botch up my performance during TfN 2011 (If they haven’t by then).
Editor’s note: Sivas Regal is one of those sobriquets that stuck post TfN ’09. (Remind him to tell you how this came about though) Siva is also one among the fun Riders’s batch!
Amrish Kapoor

I am senior game developer at Zynga Bangalore. I belong to Team Spectrum. My day usually starts with a long ride with the team, lots of fresh air and heart to heart conversations. Every race brings something unique but the climb to Ooty during TFN 2010 has been a day I would like to live again and again.
You can read the story at TFN10 blog here. TFN is a journey, a challenge, friendship and loads of yum local cuisine. They are those 7 days which I won’t trade for anything else in my life.
Editor’s note:Amrish is one of those who were always leading the pack at TfN Ten (Part of the reason why the photographer had difficulty catching up to him!). With the competitive segments in this year’s TfN, he stands a good chance of topping the leaderboard
Neel Mullick
… is a self admitted
Having somehow survived TfN10, I am already anxiously awaiting its next edition.
The only thing that made this arduous journey easy and pleasurable was the magnificent arrangements and preparations that had been done by the TfN org Team. From the accommodations to the cheerful smiles at the support stations, and from the food and nourishment to the words of encouragement stenciled in chalk on the roads, the arrangements were fabulous and so were each one of the volunteers!
Being self employed and spending as much time on the road (unfortunately in a car) as I do, it has been difficult to find time to start training outside of the gym but I hope to change that soon enough! What makes the stakes even higher this time is that the tour is going to be partially competitive and that makes the prospect of participating even more exhilarating. Can’t wait to be on the TfN route again!
Editor’s note:Never one to give up a challenge, Neel was a strong finisher on all of the days at TfN Ten. Welcome back, Neel!
Muthu Kumar
….Is doing the sequel!

I’m returning for the second time after the TfN 09.
Besides the wonderful routes and excellent arrangements done by the TFN crew what actually draws me to the TFN is riding and hanging out with all the wonderful folks. Last time around I made some really good friends and lived some of my life’s best moments.
Hoping to relive the same experience
Editor’s note:Deja Vu!
Rishi Goyal
…wants to do the TfN for ever!

My dream is to cycle to distant terrains. I bought a hybrid Shwinn bike in November 2010 as I was planning to participate in my first century ride. As the youngest member of Ahmedabad Bicycling club, I regularly participate in century rides and Mt. Abu Ascends (18 Kms 3000 feet altitude). My friends often ask me why chose Cycling. I quote George Malory, the great Mountaineer: “Because they (mountains) are there.”
TfN will not be a cake-walk but I am prepared for all the ascends and the wonderful terrain.
Editor’s note: Say Hello to the youngest Rider at the TfN Eleven, so far! Welcome aboard, Rishi
